This season, DWHS Music Theatre has been fortunate to work with 2006 Alumnus Aubie Merrylees as a performance consultant. Aubie has been involved in professional theater since his years in the Downingtown Area School District performing with The People’s Light and Theater in Malvern. After graduation from DWHS, Aubie earned his BA at Brown University and his MFA in Acting from Yale University. As well as numerous other credits, he has performed on Broadway as a member of the original cast of To Kill a Mockingbird directed by Bartlett Sher, and is currently preparing to open in Boop! The Musical on Broadway. His enthusiasm for sharing his talent, and experiences with the students has been invaluable in highlighting what can be accomplished, and how to get the most out of a performance.
